It really has helped me develop my skill for designing my advertisements to be easily noticed! It is a hard choice with books on colour because it depends and awful lot on what you are after. There's no colour theory, for example, in <em>An Eye For Color</em>, which is good or bad depending on what you want. Colour theory can be really interesting, but it can also be very dull if not explained well. <em>An Eye For Color</em> does have a good list of resources and a good bibliography in the back too though, so you could go on from there.
