Thanks Dan – I remember seeing that on your blog but forgot to link to it. I always find the focus on furniture and lamps in product design books a little disheartening, yet they seem to be constant sources of ‘art design’ products. At the same time, I can’t help feeling that they’re the classic design school briefs that get recycled over and over. I find it often more interesting to hear about the production process behind products I use every day and don’t even think about because the insight into the effort versus recognition is often greater.
