Craig – yes, it’s nice to have around. I like to leaf through it for design tips and technical (useful) trivia when my machine is processing or hanging – or when Adobe is trying to update something.

Well, those too. The whole thing relying on you knowing one of the three genders for each noun is what makes it such a tricky language.

Forget Passiv and Konjunktiv: it’s the adjective endings that have totally escaped me. Schade! :-\

Thanks. I'm a fan of both languages, living "in" both of them as I do. Mark Twain, however, found it awful (but wrote very amusingly about the fact).

Good write up. Glad you added a touch of German vocabulary in there as well. This seems like a neat book, although recently I’ve seen a few books like this around. Love the size.
